Happy Halloween from Rogue Summit!

The pitter-patter of paws on the snow will be heard throughout the world tonight! Watch out for all those ghouls and goyles out there, as they get their "tricks-or-treats" door to door. Don't mind that shadow across the moon...that's just us witches out and about on this lovely night. Ha ha ha haha! Enjoy all! Be safe!

Rogue Summit Kennel

So, as I stated in the old blog, we've decided to change our name back to Rogue Summit Kennel. In a way, it's like coming back home again to something comfortable, like an old pair of slippers...they just 'fit'. Everytime I say the name, I picture our guy, Rogue. His blue eyes dancing, his fluffy tail wagging as he'd jump up into the truck to go "to work" with Manny. He was truly a "one-of-a-kind" siberian. When he passed, we spread his ashes up at Skalkaho Falls in Montana, where we used to run the team or take hikes in the summer. Rogue LOVED playing in those falls. We thought it'd be fitting for him to rest there. He was a tough guy, he gave it his heart and soul, whether he was in harness or going after a ball or stick. I'd like to think that he's still with us, running the trails, chasing rabbits and seeing what's over that next hill.
